As a Health Coach, I want to balance healthy eating with taste. Holidays can be more challenging, since it usually means dessert and special treats, which are very tasty, but also full of sugar. Valentine’s Day is all about sugary treats, but I was determined to create a snack that wasn’t excessively high in sugar (this recipe is about half the amount of sugar compared to a candy bar) and also tasty!
Valentine’s Day Snack

Slice bread into 1-inch thick slices. Lay it on its side and smear with 1-2 tablespoons of jam. Slice strawberries lengthwise and place on top.
