Galentine’s Day 2020
The power of friendship is the glue that unites humans. It has the power to fix cracks in your heart and mind like no other. But there is unquestionably one more effective tool that all humans possess—laughter. Stop for a moment and try to remember the last time you had a good laugh. You know the “oh stop my belly hurts from laughing” kind. I bet there was someone else in the room. Perhaps a family member, co-worker, or better yet your best friend.
Laughter is able to fill a room like no other. It tears down walls not on the outside but rather on the inside. In fact, laughter is quite magical—especially with women’s friendships.
So with Galentine’s Day right around the corner; isn’t it a good time to gather up your BFFs and enjoy a night of laughter?
Galentine’s Day, first premiered a decade ago on the NBC hit show Parks and Recreation by the show’s leading lady Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler. “What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year,” Poehler’s character quips on the show before adding it’s “ladies celebrating ladies.”
This year Galentine’s Day will take place on February 13. Executive Chef Richard Glover will feature a special five course prix fixe menu for $59 per person. Menu item selections include such choices as crab bisque for starters, pistachio-crusted lamb rack for an entree choice and out-of-this-world homemade marshmallows for dessert. So be sure to make a reservation here for dinner with Fooducopia with your besties because laughter with a friend is the best kind of laughing there is.
